While we love the idea of having the optical advantages of a camera- and video-ready media center at the helm, some boats aren’t large enough to warrant multiple channels and massive amounts of power. The KMC4 scales back a bit and provides a still-thumping 200 watts of juice, with a dual-zone option and four channels that can power up to eight speakers. Of course, you can still add amps and a subwoofer thanks to RCA outputs, and sound quality gets a bump from the customizable equalizer. Plus, the KMC4 has the same high-end anti-glare screen (at 3 inches) as Kicker’s more expensive media-center units.
