Lowrance Introduces its Next Generation of Fish Finding Technology

With the introduction of three new systems, Lowrance has launched updated fish-finding technology. The HDS Pro display, highest-resolution ActiveTarget 2 live sonar and ultra-high-definition Active Imaging HD FishReveal transducer give freshwater and saltwater anglers a clearer picture of what’s beneath and around the boat.
“My fishing success just got easier,” says Edwin Evers, Lowrance pro bass angler. “The extra detail, increased clarity, and extended range will shorten my decision-making process of identifying bait, fish, structure, and reactions to the lure. I will also be more efficient at predicting and targeting the specific game fish I’m trying to catch.”
At the heart of what Lowrance calls its Ultimate Fishing System lies the HDS Pro. Pro delivers full networking and control of trolling motors, autopilots, engines, radar, communications and PowerPole shallow-water anchors. The unit features two new chart overlays for ActiveTarget Scout mode and Ghost 360 on a SolarMAX HD touchscreen.

ActiveTarget 2 updates the original live sonar product, unveiled in 2020, and offers higher-resolution views of fish movement and structure. Lowrance says the system delivers smoother images and live-action pictures in forward, down and scout views.
Active Imaging HD emits the clearest yet images of fish and structure from chirp, SideScan and DownScan sonar. A new S3100 module can create FishReveal SideScan views in addition to current DownScan views.
HDS Pro comes in 9-, 10-, 12- and 16-inch screen sizes and costs $2,199.
The ActiveTarget 2 Live Sonar module and transducer cost $1,649; the module alone costs $799, and the transducer alone costs $1,099.

Active Imaging HD requires a new transducer ($399 to $499), which mounts to the transom or the nosecone of a Ghost trolling motor. The transom-mount version also comes in a choice of medium/high and high/wide chirp options. To enable FishReveal SideScan, the S3100 sonar module ($949) must be added.
